The Washington Redskins suffered a tough loss on Sunday and with Robert Griffin III not playing well since returning from injury, some have speculated that head coach Jay Gruden could make a move to Colt McCoy or Kirk Cousins and this comes after DeSean Jackson seemingly called out some of his teammates following the defeat against the Buccaneers.

Griffin returned against the Minnesota Vikings ahead of the bye week and played fairly well in a close loss to the Vikings and many expected a better performance against the Buccaneers. The Redskins lost to the Bucs on Sunday for the second Tampa Bay win this season and after the game both Griffin and DeSean Jackson made comments about the overall effort of the team. Gruden had some pointed comments after all this came out, saying that Griffin needs to worry about himself and he will worry about other players.

Griffin mentioned in his original comments that while he did not play well, neither did his teammates and that was a reason why the Redskins did not win. Griffin made it out like the media misread his comments and that he didn't throw his teammates "under the bus" but he did do that and that is why Gruden came out to say what he did. Griffin of course went to Twitter to respond, because he always does things like that and therein lies part of the reason why the Redskins and Griffin are in the positions they are in.

Griffin needs to worry more about what's going on with the play on the field rather than responding to things on Twitter and he often does this. The Redskins have received tons of bad attention and now many have started to question whether Griffin is the right man for the job. The Washington Post has multiple columns about the issues the Redskins had on Sunday and it wasn't just what happened in the locker room.

Griffin threw some bad passes and missed DeSean Jackson on some deep balls that simply had to be made and now Gruden may have to make a QB change. Colt McCoy is nowhere near the talent that RG3 is, but he played well when he had his chances and led the Redskins to a win over the Dallas Cowboys and now he could be put in. Some fans have been calling for that and it is in part due to the fact that the Redskins looked terrible against a one win team on Sunday while losing to the Buccaneers. McCoy has just one pick and one TD this season and he has passed for 427 yards in two games and while he may not be the long term answer, Gruden may have to make a move.

Jackson has played well this season but he was frustrated with the way things went on Sunday as well and made some comments after the game. Jackson had four catches for 35 yards in the game against the Bucs and this season he has 40 catches for 819 yards and four TDs. Jackson has been over 100 yards five times and he has played well overall this year, but the issues on Sunday were glaring. Jackson and the Redskins have the chance to finish the season strong, but they have to start performing better at the QB position.
