The Denver Nuggets and NY Knicks are playing live on the NBA schedule and they are playing at Madison Square Garden and the TV coverage is from MSG in New York as Carmelo Anthony is in action and things start past 1 pm ET as the Knicks try and snap a seven game losing streak.
The Knicks have not played well to start the season but they have also had some bad luck and now they are looking to snap the streak. The team has the Bucks next after losing to the Utah Jazz and they lost on a buzzer beater from Trey Burke and the Knicks are looking to bounce back. Carmelo hit the game tying shot with two seconds left before Burke got his chance and of course it was JR Smith playing defense on Burke on the play.
The Nuggets come into the game third in the northwest division and they just won a game against the Pacers and will play the Cavaliers next on the schedule. The team is ranked fifth in rebounding and they will have another road game in Cleveland after playing against the Knicks at MSG.
The Knicks are 2-8 this season and they got 46 points from Carmelo Anthony in the loss against Utah and while they did not play great defense, they made a comeback in the game and got it close. The Knicks now have the 2-6 Nuggets and they will next play against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday and they sure would like to snap this streak. The team is ranked 26th in points per game this season and they are 17th in points allowed this season and Derek Fisher has not been satisfied with the defense overall.
Anthony is leading the Knicks once again in scoring and now the team has lost seven straight games, basically their entire November schedule apart from the first game against the Hornets. The team lost back to back games against the Hawks and they are now coming up on a tough stretch with a bunch of road games into the end of the month. The team has five of the next six on the road with the Bucks and Wolves before hosting the Sixers and after that they have a wast trip against the Mavericks, Rockets and Thunder before ending the month at home against Miami.
