The fantasy football week 9 schedule is here and some free agent pickups and sleeper options coming into the weekend include Bobby Rainey, Martavis Bryant, Justin Forsett, Charles Sims, Robert Griffin III, Eddie Royal, John Brown, Travis Kelce, Juwan Thompson and Carlos Hyde, as those players have the chance to step up with matchups and injuries this weekend.

Rainey and Charles Sims are solid RB options, as Doug Martin has been banged up and he could be out for this week for the Buccaneers. Justin Forsett and Lorenzo Taliaferro have been good for the Ravens since the Ray Rice issue and they both are worthy starters this weekend. John brown had the best game of his career with the Cardinals last week and after the way he played he should be getting more targets each week from Carson Palmer.

Robert Griffin III is expected to start this week for the Washington Redskins and he is a good pickup, as many owners ditched him after his injury back in Week 2. With some players on byes this week RG3 is worth a look and if he gets back to where he was when he was healthy, he could be a steal. Travis Kelce has been one of the best tight end surprises this season and now he has a fantastic matchup. The Jets come in as one of the worst teams in the league and he has the chance to step up big for the Chiefs on Sunday.

Carlos Hyde and Juwan Thompson are backups that have the chance to put up starter numbers, as Hyde has been getting more touches for the 49ers. The Broncos have Montee Ball out and Ronnie Hillman banged up and that means Thompson could get some more action against the New England Patriots. Thompson comes in after scoring twice last week and the Broncos really like how he runs the ball. John Fox said that even when Ball returns, the team is planning to use Hillman and Thompson more after they played well in his place.

Forsett has been splitting time with Lorenzo Taliaferro and while Lorenzo had two touchdowns last week, both players should see plenty of action against the Steelers in Week 9. Forsett missed some practice this week with a leg injury, but he was back on the field on Thursday and Pro Football Talk reports that he will be playing on Sunday. Forsett should still see touches, as he led the team with 17 carries in the game and while he did not score like Lorenzo did, the Ravens still see him as a main back option.

Martavis Bryant is the player that every fantasy owner should check out, as he could be a perfect replacement for teams in need of help after injuries. With AJ Green, Victor Cruz and Calvin Johnson all dealing with injuries this year, Bryant could be a strong pickup, as he had a great game with five catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns against the Colts ion Week 8. The Steelers have Antonio Brown and Markus Wheaton, but Bryant has played himself into WR2 or WR3 position and could be a great option this weekend against the Ravens.
