There is nothing better than a Game 7. The 2014 World Series has proven to be nothing but fireworks and Game 6 was no different. At risk of being eliminated, the Kansas City Royals came back home with vengeance in a 10-0 win over the San Francisco Giants. Now they have forced a definitive, winner-take-all Game 7 in hopes of clinching the trophy at the end of the night. Both teams prepare to lay it all on the line as the baseball season prepares to crown a champion on Wednesday night.

The Royals will give the ball to veteran Jeremy Guthrie who has never pitched a postseason game before this year. Now he is pitching is the biggest postseason game there is. The 35-year-old got the win last Friday night to give the Royals the series lead, but then San Francisco rallied in the next two matchups. He has a 3.60 ERA heading into the game after pitching five innings and giving up two earned runs. The Royals hope he takes a page out of rookie Yordano Ventura's book who dominated in the shutout win of Game 6.

The Giants will also be trusting a veteran who has not seen this far into the playoffs in his entire career. Tim Hudson will take the mound having never pitched in a World Series until last Friday. The veteran was strong in his last start, going 5.2 innings and giving up just three earned runs off four hits, but was handed the loss. If the Giants get into any kind of trouble, they are prepared to put Madison Bumgarner on the mound who has been lights out this postseason. The pitcher has allowed just one run over 16 innings in the last two games, but would be going off short rest which is risky.

The Kansas City Royals will also rely heavily on their talented bullpen who held the Giants at bay on Tuesday. Wade Davis and Kevin Herrera have been a headache for hitters along with Greg Holland. History is on their side as home teams have won nine straight Game 7s , but the Giants are looking to change that.
