Mike Wallace is once again not happy with the Miami Dolphins' offense. The unit has been inconsistent at best during the 2014 season looking elite and struggling from week to week. Ryan Tannehill goes from looking like a rising star to resorting back to his rookie mistakes every other game which is causing the offense to sputter. Wallace is not happy, complaining about his lack of involvement in the unit.

Wallace joined the Dolphins in 2013 with the idea that he would become their elite scoring threat. However, that has yet to really come to fruition. The receiver has five touchdowns, but has yet to break the 100-yard mark this season. In his last three of four games he has less than 60 yards of offense which is simply not enough to get the job done. Wallace is blaming the lack of a deep ball as the reason to his quiet numbers.

The Miami Herald reports that Tannehill has connected on just seven passes of 20 yards or more. Wallace is frustrated claiming he is built for the deep ball and the quarterback is simply not helping.

"We didn't do nothing," Wallace said, via the Miami Herald. "Our offense was [expletive]. We've got to do better."

Frustrations continue to mount for Wallace. The wide receiver has made this critical comments in the past. When he first signed with Miami, Wallace complained that he was not getting enough targets. Now he wants deeper passes. As the losses mount for the Dolphins, Wallce is left to question the game plan of the coaching staff, hoping the team can pull things together soon.

Wallace currently leads the Dolphins in receiving, but Jarvis Landry and Brian Hartline continue to be safety blankets for Tannehill. With a limited run game at the moment, the Dolphins are relying heavily on the wide receivers to get the job done and it simply is not working out in the team's favor. That could mean changes are coming in the offseason after the Dolphins opted to not make any moves at the trade deadline.

The Dolphins will not be getting rid of Wallace. The wide receiver would be very valuable in a deal, but the Dolphins will not release Wallace no matter what the rumor mill says or how will Landry and Hartline look come the end of the year. At this point, most signs point towards Miami looking at their options at quarterback which means Tannehill's future is the one in question.
