Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray set a record with his seventh straight game with 100-yards on Sunday against the Giants and he is now the top MVP option for the 2014 season and he has been the best fantasy football player along with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck through seven weeks of the season.

Murray had another strong game with 128 yards and a touchdown against the Giants in the win for the Cowboys and now the team is 6-1 on the season. Tony Romo is having a very solid year and Murray has been the top player in all of football, leading in carries and rushing yards and he is now on pace to have over 400 carries and more than 2,000 yards on the season. Murray dealt with an ankle injury during the game, but it wasn't serious.

Murray has had a strong season and he has over 900 yards already through just seven games and he is the leading candidate for MVP right now. Murray comes in with 913 yards and seven touchdowns this season and he is by far the leader in carries and yards this season. Murray has 187 carries and the Cowboys may try and limit his touches going forward to keep him healthy, as he has dealt with injury issues in the past.

Murray has never played in all 16 games and he missed two games last season and six the season before. Murray is on pace to shatter his numbers from last season, when he had career highs of 217 carries, 1124 yards and nine touchdowns and a 5.2 yards per carry along with nine touchdowns. Murray is not the first player to go for 100 yards in each of his first seven games and he is on pace to rush for over 2000 yards this season and the next matchup is a favorable one with the Washington Redskins.

Luck has also had a very strong season and the Colts have won five straight games after starting off 0-2 and he has been playing very well during the streak. Luck has passed for 2331 yards this season and has 19 touchdowns to just seven interceptions and he now has gone over 300 passing yards in six of seven games. Luck is a strong starter for the rest of the season and could be MVP along with Murray through half the year.
