The Miami Dolphins lost Knowshon Moreno for the season and now Lamar Miller, Daniel Thomas and Damien Williams are options for fantasy football owners to replace him at RB and this comes as Ryan Tannehill and the Fins are looking to keep things going with Charles Clay, Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline after a quality win over the Bears this weekend.

Moreno is out for the season and Miller takes over as the starter fully for the rest of the year after coming in as the top backup once Moreno went down. Moreno dealt with injuries earlier in the season before coming back and getting hurt again and that led to some solid performances from Miller. Last week Miller had over 60 yards rushing against the Bears and he also added two catches for 22 yards and during the game he rotated with Daniel Thomas. Miller is still a better option than Thomas, but Thomas could be a solid pickup in deeper leagues.

Miller now has nearly 400 yards rushing this season and he is well on his way to besting last years number of 709 yards and 177 rushes. Miller has been rushing the ball well and he is a strong option against the Jaguars this weekend for the Dolphins in Week 8. Miller had his best game of the season against the Chiefs back in Week 3 and now he has a great matchup with the Jaguars. This season Miller has been averaging nearly five yards per carry and that has been a huge difference for Miami.

The Dolphins offense has been a bit inconsistent, but Ryan Tannehill is starting to get things going and Charles Clay, Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline have started to benefit from it along with their fantasy owners. Clay got into the endzone for the first time this season and he could be on his way to heating up, as he had four catches and led the team with nearly 60 yards receiving against the Bears. Clay now has 21 catches for 204 yards this season and Tannehill comes in after passing for 277 yards and two scores in the game along with 50 rushing yards.

Mike Wallace had a score last week and against the Jaguars, him and Hartline along with clay are smart start options. Miller has a great matchup with the Jags and they are coming in after their first win of the season against the Cleveland Browns.

Moreno is now out for the season after signing a one year deal with the Dolphins in the offseason and that is a huge blow for the team as they try and win some games. The team has been getting some strong play from Lamar Miller and now he will lead the group of backs as the starter over Daniel Thomas and Damien Williams. Miller was very good last week and now the Dolphins play the Bears, who have been gashed in the past and could give up some yardage. The Dolphins want to continue rushing the ball and that means Miller will be getting RB1 touches for the rest of the way.
