The fantasy football Week 7 schedule starts with Patriots Jets on Thursday night and some start or sit options for the game include Eric Decker, Rob Gronkowski, Jace Amaro, Geno Smith, Jeremy Kerley, Chris Ivory, Stevan Ridley, Brandon Bolden, Brandon LaFell, Shane Vereen, James White, Tom Brady, Tim Wright and Julian Edelman, as all of those players could have impacts on the game or are coming in with injuries.

The Patriots come into the game with high expectations after winning their last two games with ease against tough teams and the Jets are looking like a team in crisis. The Jets often raise their game when they play against the Pats, but this week the team is coming in after losing five straight games. Fantasy wise there are a number of players to look at and now that Stevan Ridley is out, Shane Vereen should be looked at as the starter.

Julian Edelman is a START option, as he has been the best WR option for Tom Brady and he comes in after leading the team in targets last week. Edelman had a huge season last year with over 100 catches and he comes in after making nine catches last week for 91 yards against the Bills. Edelman should be able to pick apart the Jets lineup along with Brandon LaFell, who comes in playing very well this season.

LaFell has ended up as a huge surprise and he is a sleeper moving forward for the season. LaFell comes in making four catches last week for 97 yards and he had two touchdowns in the game. LaFell is heating up and he has had three scores in his past three games along with 11 receptions in that span and he should be a main target for the Patriots on Thursday night.

The Jets will have Eric Decker in the game and that makes things better for Geno Smith and Jeremy Kerley, as that will open things up in the offense. Decker is a START option in the game and so is Kerley and while he has not played well in recent weeks, Kerley could have a nice game. Smith has been struggling all season and he has the chance to step up against a team that will be favored. Amaro could end up as one of his favorite targets and he is a START option on Thursday night. Amaro had 10 catches last week and Decker had six and now both of those players will be the focus for the Jets.

Vereen comes in as the best start option and he is on track to set career bests in yards and carries this season. Vereen is excellent out of the backfield catching the ball and the Jets will need to watch out for that. Vereen is taking over with Stevan Ridley out for the season and that makes Brandon Bolden and James White solid pickups. For Week 7, White and Bolden are SIT options because the Patriots often shuffle around their backs and with Ridley out, Vereen will be the main RB on Thursday night.
