English Premier League Table: Chelsea Leads EPL Standings Over Man City and Manchester United

The English Premier League table has Chelsea on top after a win against Crystal Palace Saturday and they are on top of the EPL standings ahead of Manchester City, Southampton, West Ham and Manchester United as the schedule picks up after qualifying for Euro 2016 and international play.

The English Premier League table has Chelsea on top and they are first in the EPL standings over Manchester City, Southampton and Manchester United, while Swansea City comes in at fifth on the table ahead of Tottenham after a week off for international play and Euro 2016 qualifying.

Chelsea has been the best team in the league this season and they have a healthy lead over Manchester City and they have the chance to keep things going. Diego Costa has been huge and the team is scoring more than anyone else in the league right now. Chelsea has been able to rest overall with the international schedule coming over this past week and now they have the chance to push their lead once the EPL schedule picks up again.

Man City is in second place on points, one ahead of Southampton in the standings and three up on Manchester United. Man United has played much better after a slow and disappointing start to the season and that followed a terrible year last campaign. The team now is third in goals scored and they have 11 points along with Swansea City and Tottenham in the standings.

West Ham is in seventh and they are tied on points in a group with Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa and that round out the top nine ahead of Aston Villa. The team leads Hull City and they are there with Leicester City, while Sunderland, West Brom and Crystal Palace are next in the standings. The bottom part of the league table has Stroke City and Everton ahead of Newcastle, Burnley and QPR.

Chelsea is leading the league with 19 points and they have a five point lead over Manchester City, who is second with Southampton with four wins to Chelsea's six. This weekend has a number of big games that could shake things up, including Man City playing against Tottenham and Chelsea playing against Crystal Palace and that is a road matchup for the Blues. Arsenal and Hull City are playing, while Liverpool, Man United and Swansea City are also in action on Sunday and Monday.
