The Anaheim Ducks and Philadelphia Flyers are playing on the NHL 2014 season schedule on Tuesday and the game is from the Wells Fargo Center starting up past 7 pm ET and the matchup is streaming from NHL.com and has Philly looking for their first victory of the season as they host one of the best western conference teams.

The Ducks come into the game after a win against the Buffalo Sabres and this mini road run will end with the Wild at home on Friday. The team now has Philly and they come in playing well, getting two wins in the first three games for four points. The Ducks were the top team in the west last season and now they are looking to finally make good on that promise by making it to the finals. The team plays the Wild next and they come in after dropping five goals on the Sabres.

The Ducks are ranked fourth already in goals per game and ninth in power play percentage and their penalty killing has also been strong to start the season. The team is tied for first with the Canucks and Sharks in the division and now they have an east team to matchup with. The Flyers come into the game after a tough shootout loss against the Canadiens and now they are looking to bounce back as well. The team has the Dallas Stars next on the schedule and that will be an away game. The team is 0-2-1 with one point to start the season and they are currently seventh in the Metro division.

The Flyers made a run to the eastern conference playoffs last year and lost in seven games to the Rangers and now they are hoping for a deeper run. The team comes into things at 16th in the league in goals per game through three matchups and they are looking for Steve Mason to bounce back and get things going in net. The west is going to be very tough this season for the Ducks and once again the Flyers have a tough division to get through with the Rangers and Penguins.

The Flyers now have lost three straight to open the season and all of those were close games. The team lost to the Bruins by one goal and to the Devils by two and they allowed six goals in that game. The team is looking to get back on track now, as they are about to head out on a road trip. The team has Dallas on the road after Anaheim and then plays against Chicago and Pittsburgh in back to back games. Both those teams are expected to be very good again and that could be a big test for the team.
