Former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez has been indicted on a first-degree murder charge for the death of Odin Lloyd"

Former Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez is in jail awaiting trial for multiple murders and new reports have him passing the time with visits from his girlfriend and fiancé Shayanna Jenkins, reading "Harry Potter" books and sending letters with drawings of nude women from his cell in Suffolk County Jail in Massachusetts as he waits for the Odin Lloyd trial to begin in January.

Hernandez has been locked up since last year after he was arrested on murder charges in the death of Odin Lloyd and since then, Hernandez has been charged with two other murders as well. According to TMZ.com and Complex, one of Hernandez's letters was obtained and in it he describes his reading habits and also that he is not in lockup as much as many expected, with him writing that he is "out all day" and only inside for four hours apart from sleeping. There are also pictures of nude women that Hernandez drew on the letters, see the link below for a picture.

Hernandez is awaiting trial in multiple murders and the first one that he was arrested for was the shooting death of Odin Lloyd. Hernandez has been charged with first degree murder and while there has not been a murder weapon found in the case, the prosecution can still charge him with first degree murder. Lloyd was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancé and that is how the two met and some reports have Hernandez killing Lloyd in retaliation for an incident at a nightclub.

Other reports have Hernandez killing Lloyd because he knew about his involvement in two other murders, which Hernandez now is also charged with. That case was before the Lloyd killing and was unsolved for some time. That incident occurred outside a nightclub in Boston and was a drive by shooting that left two men dead. Hernandez was later tied to the incident through a car found at a relative's home and he was also spotted on surveillance video at the club on the night of the murders.

Hernandez was one of the top young tight ends in the league heading into his next season before his shocking arrest and soon after that, the Patriots released him. Hernandez has had multiple incidents dating back to his days in college and now he is waiting for his trial to begin. Hernandez has been held without bail and ESPN.com reports that he is visited by his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins and his family while in lockup. Court records show that Hernandez was conferenced and felt "helpless" when police questioned him at his home regarding the death of Lloyd.

Hernandez and his lawyers have argued and won a judgment that some of the evidence in the case was obtained improperly. Hernandez called the search an "occupation" of his home and that he should have been read his rights. The lawyers in the case for the state have not opposed the move from the defense to suppress some of the evidence, as they feel they have a strong case without it. Hernandez signed a massive contract extension in the months before the crime and stated that he was hoping to keep his life on the right track.
