The MLB Playoffs Standings has the Baltimore Orioles up 2-0 on the Detroit Tigers in the ALDS after a comeback win on Friday and that came before the San Francisco Giants took down the Washington Nationals for a 1-0 lead in the NLDS as the postseason rolls along.

The Orioles made a furious comeback against the Tigers bullpen, scoring four runs in the eighth inning and that gave the team a 2-0 lead with the series heading back to Detroit. The Tigers were down 2-0 early before striking back with five runs in the fourth inning and they held the lead through the eighth after Miguel Cabrera hit a solo home run. That was when the Orioles struck back and that was enough to get the win for the team.

The Giants played the Nationals tough and nearly allowed Washington to come back and San Francisco was able to hold on for the 1-0 series lead. Jake Peavy pitched a great game for the Giants and while the bullpen allowed two home runs to get the score to 3-2, the Giants relievers held it together and pulled out the win. Peavy got the win in the game, while Stephen Strasburg took the loss in his playoff debut.
