The Detroit Lions and fantasy football owners have WR Calvin Johnson hobbled a bit heading into Week 5 and his injury made him a decoy last game against the Jets and now Reggie Bush, Golden Tate, Jeremy Ross and Eric Ebron are options moving forward for this week for PPR owners, as Johnson could be banged up through the weekend for Matthew Stafford.

According to Pro Football Talk, Johnson was used as a decoy last week against the Jets, as he was hobbled with an ankle injury and had trouble making his cuts heading into the weekend. Johnson added that his ankle is feeling better heading into the Week 5 game with the Bills, but fantasy owners may want to grab Golden Tate or Jeremy Ross as backup options in case he can't go or is limited again. Last week Johnson had just two catches for 12 yards and while the team will be home in the dome again, if his ankle is acting up, PPR owners may want to scramble for other Lions options.

Matthew Stafford is off to a nice start this season and names like Reggie Bush, Golden Tate, Jeremy Ross and Eric Ebron could be options. Joique Bell is dealing with a concussion, while Brandon Pettigrew also could be a solid pickup in deeper leagues. Johnson is still having a fine season with 21 catches for 341 yards and two touchdowns, but fantasy owners were dismayed with the performance last week and now they are hoping that he can bounce back. The past three seasons Johnson has been fantastic and owners are looking for him to do that again.

Ebron has been off to a slow start, but he had three catches last week and had four targets and he could be getting more as time goes on. Ebron is athletic and he has just six catches for 72 yards this season, but half of those came against the Jets. Ebron has scored a touchdown and he will continue to be an option in the redzone for the Lions. Bell is dealing with a concussion and that means the Lions will be using Reggie Bush more and PPR owners should look to start him coming up this weekend.

Bush is great in PPR leagues, as he has 18 catches already this season and he had four catches for 19 yards against the Jets. Bush also rushed 12 times for 46 yards in the game and now he has 148 yards on the ground and 112 yards receiving with one touchdown. Bush and the Lions are looking for his breakout game and that could come this week, as he is already on pace to catch over 70 balls this season and if Bell is out, he will get even more action.

Stafford is also on pace for a strong season and he has nearly 1200 yards passing already with five TDs. Stafford has some crazy numbers in his past, including a 5,000 yard season and after playing in all 16 games in each of the past three seasons, he is looking to do that once again. Stafford helped his team win last week and now the Lions are in control in the NFC north division.
