The San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals are playing live on the Week 3 NFL schedule from University of Phoenix Stadium and the game is starting up at 4:05 pm ET from FOX on TV and the streaming coverage is online as Colin Kaepernick and company try and take down the 2-0 Cards and this is a big NFC West matchup.

The 49ers are coming into the game after a tough loss against the Chicago Bears on Sunday night football and that came after a major comeback from the Bears in the matchup. Colin Kaepernick had over 300 total yards in the game, but the Niners could not hold on after taking a big lead and now they will try and turn things around against the current leaders of the west division. The Niners are the favorites with the Seahawks this season, but the Cardinals have a top defense and they coming in following a win over the Giants on the road.

San Francisco has a tough slate of games coming up after playing on the road against the Cardinals and that includes two straight at home against playoff teams from last season. The 49ers play against the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs and after that they have two road games heading into their bye week. The team plays the Rams on Monday night football and then matches up with the Denver Broncos on Sunday night football for back to back prime time games.

Carson Palmer will be out again and that's tough for the Cardinals, although Drew Stanton played well in the win last week against the Giants. The team dropped Jonathan Dwyer amid his domestic violence arrest and Andre Ellington has been the lead back for the team and he should end up having plenty of action on Sunday. Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd have been very quiet to start the season and now they face off against one of the toughest defenses in the league.

The Niners defense was totally exposed last week as the Bears came back and now they need to find a way to step up on Sunday. The team has gotten some strong play from Colin Kaepernick and he has three TDs this season, while Anquan Boldin has been the top receiver for the team.
