Arsenal and Aston Villa are playing on the English Premier League schedule on Saturday and the match is live on the NBC Sports Network and NBCSN Live Extra website at 10 am ET from Villa Park as the Gunners try and bounce back from their Champions League group loss and draw from their last EPL matchup and Arsene Wenger has his team ready to play.

Aston Villa is second in the Premier League and they are hosting this matchup before Arsenal returns the favor later in the season in January. Arsenal finished in the top four of the Premier League last year and made it into the Champions League through the playoffs and now they are into the group stage. The team is now making the visit to Birmingham to play against Aston Villa and they are playing well and right now are second in the EPL table standings.

Aston Villa has won three of four matchups this season and Arsenal is looking to fix up their defensive lapses from their matchup against Dortmund this week in the group stage of the Champions League. Mesut Ozil is looking to get back in his groove after the game during the week and he is not nearly as comfortable playing out wide and Arsenal will have to overcome that after the game last weekend and he could use a strong performance coming up.

Amazingly Aston Villa has only conceded one goal this season and they have scored four and they are in second with 10 points behind Chelsea. The Blues have played well and they are in first place with 12 points and they have scored 15 goals and next in the standings are Swansea City, Southampton and Man City. Tottenham is next ahead of Arsenal, while a nice group is there with Liverpool, Man United, Hull City and Everton.

Arsenal is seventh in the league standings and they are coming in after the loss to Dortmund and the team previously drew with Manchester City. The team won over Crystal Palace and pulled a draw with Everton and coming up they have some tough matches. The team has the group stage of the Champions League with Anderlecht and Galatasaray and they also have Chelsea coming up on the EPL schedule and that will be a tough matchup. The team also plays Hull City and the Chelsea matchup will be from Stamford Bridge.
