The Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals are playing live on the MLB schedule on Friday night and the ESPN game is on TV from ESPN2 and the WatchESPN website online as the AL Central teams battle for the division and playoff position and the game starts up at 8 pm ET with Justin Verlander taking on Jason Vargas and this is a huge game in the AL playoffs race.
The two teams have been going at it through the season and now it's crunch time, as they face off with the Tigers leading the division by a slim margin. The Royals were leading the division for a while and now the Tigers are back in the lead and they are looking to push KC away for the central title.
