The Auburn Tigers and Kansas State Wildcats are playing a college football game live on Thursday night from ESPN and the matchup is from Bill Snyder Family Stadium starting at 7:30 pm ET and the game has two top 25 teams battling from the SEC and Big 12 and it will be streaming live online from the WatchESPN website and on ESPN Radio for audio and both teams come into the game 2-0 on the season.

The Tigers come into the game after a huge win over San Jose State and that matchup saw Cameron Artis-Payne go off with 112 rushing yards and he has had a strong start to the season. Payne has 289 yards rushing already with three touchdowns and now he faces off against Kansas State and they will be a tough team to deal with. The Tigers have a tough SEC schedule like always and they are 2-0 on the season and 1-0 within the conference already and they play against Louisiana Tech next before really jumping into the conference schedule.

Auburn comes into the game ranked in the top 10 in the nation in points scored per game and rushing yards per game and now they have their first major matchup of the season. This is one of a number of top 25 matchups for Auburn and they come in after scoring 45 and 59 points in their first two games. The team won over Arkansas to open the season and after playing the Bulldogs they have a very tough slate coming up with some top SEC teams.

Auburn will have to be fantastic to get through this schedule and they play against LSU after the next game before playing Mississippi State and then they have the gauntlet. The team plays home against ranked South Carolina before hitting the road against Ole Miss and that has a stretch off four games in a row with ranked teams as of the Kansas State game.

The team has Ole Miss and then they will host the Aggies from Texas A&M and that means Kenny Hill and then of course the team has to travel to play Georgia. The next game is a joke and then the team has Alabama next and that always is a crazy matchup, especially after what happened last season. This time Auburn will be on the road and that means Alabama has the Tuscaloosa advantage. Nick Marshall has 151 yards this season and one TD while Jeremy Johnson has 277 yards and two scores and it's Payne leading the way on offense and he will be key on Thursday.

Kansas State comes in after a win against Iowa State and they next will matchup with UTEP before they get things going in the Big 12. The team has Texas Tech and Oklahoma coming up next after that game and then the team plays against Texas. Charlie Strong will bring his team in prepared and after that they have OK State before playing three of the finals four on the road against West Virginia, TCU, Kansas and Baylor with the Jayhawks game coming at home.
