The Denver Broncos have Wes Welker back for Week 3 and fantasy football owners are thrilled that his suspension has been fixed by the new drug policy and now he is a prime WR start option for the team with Demaryius Thomas over Emmanuel Sanders and Andre Caldwell for the visit to the Seattle Seahawks for a Super Bowl rematch on Sunday.

Welker was hit with a four game suspension right before the season started for amphetamines and now he is back in action following an agreement on a new drug policy. ESPN.com reports that Welker will be allowed to start working with the team and getting back to the facility and the Broncos were fine without him, winning both games he missed and now he comes back at the perfect time. The team won against the Colts and the Chiefs to open the season and now they have a massive matchup on the road against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks are 1-1, so they will be very motivated to win and so will the Broncos and getting Welker back is big for Manning. Peyton has had another good start to the season and now he will have another weapon and that could open things up even more for Montee Ball and the rest of the offense. Emmanuel Sanders and Cody Latimer stepped up with Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas with welker out and now he will be back in the lineup. Welker is one of the best slot receivers in history and moving him back into that position should be big for Manning.

Welker has had a great career and he is coming off of his "worst" season in a number of years and the reason we say "worst" is because he had been so great the previous few years. Welker was fantastic in New england and he had another strong year with the Broncos last season, going for 10 touchdowns in 13 games with 73 catches for 778 yards. Welker is another solid addition to this offense and with the crazy defense of the Seahawks, the team will be ready to have him back.

Welker missed the game against the Chiefs despite the fact that the drug agreement was getting hammered out and now he is officially ready to go against the Seahawks. The concussion issue is not a problem and that is one reason why the suspension was a blessing in disguise anyway. Welker comes in after some solid play from Sanders and that was a major signing this offseason and that allowed the Broncos to keep things rolling despite losing Welker.

Sanders had a nice game against the Chiefs, going for eight catches for 108 yards and he now has 14 catches for 185 yards in two games this season. Sanders still is a smart play in most leagues since the Broncos pass so much, but Welker should take over his slot duty once again. Cody Latimer did nothing while Welker was out and he is not an option for fantasy owners, at least not yet. Demaryius Thomas is off to a slow start by his standards, but he has nine catches for 110 yards and one touchdown so far this season in two games and now he has the chance to breakout, even if it's the Seahawks.
