The Chicago Bulls are one of a number of teams interested in NBA free agent Ryan Hollins, as the San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers are all potential options for the center and he could join up with Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol as the Bulls make a run at the title against LeBron James and the Cavs in the east and this comes after the team considered dealing Taj Gibson in the Kevin Love trade.

Hollins spent last season with the Clippers and he no longer has a fit with the team after they signed Spencer Hawes to a contract this summer in free agency. According to Pro Basketball Talk, Hollins has been in contact with a number of teams about a potential deal, including the Miami Heat, LA Lakers, Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers. Hollins would be in a reserve role with all of those teams, but he has plenty of experience and can help in the playoffs.

The Miami Heat have been looking to add another big man alongside Chris Andersen and Udonis Haslem, while the Spurs are pretty filled up on the bench already. The Kings are rebuilding and they have Jason Thompson alongside DeMarcus Cousins, who just had a great run with the US national team. The Lakers already have a pretty full bench with Ed Davis, Robert Sacre and Jordan Hill, while the Cavaliers are looking to sign Ray Allen as their next move. The Bulls have also been interested in Allen along with the Miami Heat, Washington Wizards and LA Clippers.

The Bulls have the toughest division in the east with the Indiana Pacers and the Cleveland Cavaliers and even though they are getting back Derrick Rose, the Cavs have LeBron and Kevin Love. The Pacers will be without Paul George this season, but they should still be a very good team and the east is deep with talent in the Miami Heat, Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors.

The Bulls missed out on the Kevin Love trade, but they feel they have a strong team with Derrick Rose coming back healthy from his knee issues. Rose made it through the Team USA run at the FIBA World Cup without any major setbacks and now he will be ready for the season. The Bulls also signed Pau Gasol and they feel he can be a strong addition to the front court after letting Carlos Boozer go.

The Bulls will have a tough division and a tough road, but with a healthy Rose and the deep roster they have, they could make a run. Joakim Noah is as good as anyone defensively and Gasol will help bring more offense from the low post and the front court, while a healthy Rose is something the team has been waiting two years for.
