The English Premier League table has Chelsea on top of the EPL standings ahead of Aston Villa, Swansea City, Southampton, Manchester City and Tottenham as the weekend schedule closes and there is one game left on the schedule with Hull City and West Ham playing and that will not factor into the top part of the standings this week, which saw the Blues remain first with four wins.

Chelsea has been very strong to start the season and they have yet to concede a point and they also have the best goal differential in the EPL. The team has the top differential by four goals and they are currently in first place with four wins, zero losses and 12 points to go with 15 goals for and only six goals against. Swansea had not given up a point through three games, but something had to give with Chelsea and now the Blues are on top of the league standings for the moment.

Man City is going to be a strong team this year and they are in the mix at the top of the table with seven points and two wins and they are tied on points with the Spurs. Tottenham is at sixth on the table ahead of Arsenal and those teams also should be in the mix once things get deeper into the season. Liverpool is tied with the Gunners on points and they are in ahead of Manchester United, who won their first game of the season on Sunday under Louis Van Gaal.

The rest of the standings has Everton behind Manchester United while Leicester City and Hull City are in ahead of Stoke City and Sunderland. The bottom of the standings has West Ham, QPR, Crystal Palace, Burnley, West Brom and Newcastle. Arsenal and Man City played to a draw this weekend, while Chelsea won over Swansea and Man United won their first match of the season over QPR.
