Week 2 of the fantasy football is season is basically in the books and some sleepers and pick up options from the games this weekend include Jeremy Hill, Mohamed Sanu, Jonathan Stewart, Jerick McKinnon, Donald Brown, Bishop Sankey, Matt Asiata and Mike James, as all those names have received boosts while players ahead of them are dealing with injuries or other issues.

Sanu ended up with a big game for the Bengals after AJ Green had to leave and if he is injured for an extended period of time, expect Sanu to get some more reps in the offense. Green is dealing with a toe injury and he may sit out Week 3 since the Bengals have a bye in the next week of the schedule. Hill is another Bengals player to watch, as he has been splitting time with Giovani Bernard and the team really likes the way he has been performing.

Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata are strong pickups in mots leagues and McKinnon is a pickup in deeper leagues, as Adrian Peterson was deactivated on Sunday. The Vikings may use him as the season goes along, but right now it looks like Peterson is out for the time being and that gives way to the other two backs on the roster. The team was hit hard by the Patriots this weekend and now Asiata and McKinnon could get more carries if Peterson remains out.

Jonathan Stewart scored his first touchdown since 2012 with DeAngelo Williams hobbled and he could be a major sleeper going forward even when he comes back. Donald Brown and Bishop Sankey are also solid options, as Ryan Mathews was injured for the Chargers to give Brown some more touches, while Sankey could finally get some more in Week 3. Shonn Greene has not been great so far and even with Dexter McCluster there, Sankey should get some more looks as the season goes on.

The Vikings were beaten soundly by the Patriots on Sunday and McKinnon had seven yards on two carries and he also added two catches for the team. McKinnon and Asiata were thrust into action in a surprising situation with Peterson, meaning the Vikings did not really have time to prepare. The team now has the chance to game plan with the two backs and that could mean more touches next week with the New Orleans Saints on the schedule for Week 3.

Hill has the chance to be a very solid back for fantasy owners, as he had 15 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals blowout win against the Falcons. Bernard is still the feature back, but the Bengals are not afraid to use Hill and he also has been a factor out of the backfield catching the ball for Cincy.

Jonathan Stewart has the chance to be a major factor for the Panthers, as he had 15 carries for 37 yards and a touchdown in the game while playing for DeAngelo Williams. Stewart also added one catch for 22 yards in the win and he should be the starter until Williams gets back to full strength.
