Quarterback Colin Kaepernick #7 of the San Francisco 49ers warms up before their game against the Chicago Bears at Levi's Stadium on September 14, 2014 in Santa Clara, California. ("

The Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers are playing on the Sunday night football schedule for Week 2 on NBC and the game is live at 8:30 pm ET and streaming online from the NBC Sports Network Live Extra website as Levi's Stadium opens officially and Roger Goodell will not be in attendance while Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery may not be able to go against Colin Kaepernick and the Niners.

The Bears are coming in after losing to the Bills and they need Marshall and Jeffery to be healthy this season, which is one reason why they may not be playing on Sunday night, but actually they are. Adam Schefter reported on Twitter that both players will be active for the game against the Niners and that's good news for Jay Cutler. . The game is big for both teams and the Niners come in after a dominating game against the Dallas Cowboys to start with a win this season and the Bears are looking for their first victory.

The Bears lost in an exciting game in Week 1 to the Buffalo Bills and now those Bills are 2-0 and that game saw Cutler throw for nearly 350 yards and he will be looking to do the same Sunday. Having Jeffery and Marshall in the lineup will be huge for the Bears and even if they are now 100 percent, it's still better than having those guys out. Schefter reported that the two players looked good in pregame warmups and that's why they are in the starting lineup. The Bears have a tough early schedule and they are about to start a stretch of four games on the road in five weeks.

The team has two straight night games with this matchup and the next week on the road for MNF against the NY Jets and they will be home against the Packers in the middle of that. The Bears then have the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons on the schedule before playing the Miami Dolphins at home. The team has the New England Patriots heading into the bye week and coming out they have another road game with the Green Bay Packers. The Minnesota Vikings and Buccaneers are next and the final stretch is tough with the Lions twice along with the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings as well as an MNF game against the Saints.
