The Nebraska Cornhuskers and Fresno State Bulldogs are playing live on the CBS Sports Network college football schedule on Saturday night from Bulldog Stadium and the matchup starts at 10:30 pm ET and has the Huskers coming in favored as one of the better teams in the Big Ten and Fresno is reeling still from the loss of QB Derek Carr.
Nebraska comes into the game after a close win against McNeese State and that came during a terrible day for the Big Ten and the Huskers needed a miracle play to get it done. The team now has Fresno State on the schedule ahead of Miami and many have looked at Nebraska as a sleeper team out of the conference and they came very close to blowing that in their last game after opening with a crazy win against Florida Atlantic.
The team plays against Illinois to kick off the conference schedule and then the team plays against Michigan State and that matchup against the Spartans is huge for the Big Ten. The team has two road games in a row with MSU and then against Northwestern and that comes ahead of a matchup with Rutgers and that will be very anticipated.
The team has Purdue and then it has the matchup with Wisconsin and that could be big as these are the top teams in the conference behind Michigan State. Nebraska ends the season with the Badgers on the road before playing Minnesota at home and then against Iowa on the road.
