The fantasy football schedule is now onto Monday night football and some start or sit options for Week include Darren Sproles, Jeremy Maclin, Nick Foles, TY Hilton, Ahmad Bradshaw and LeSean McCoy as well as Hakeem Nicks for the game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Philadelphia Eagles on MNF.

The fantasy football Week 2 schedule is about to start and some players to watch on whether to start or sit include Wes Welker, Brandon Marshall, Carson Palmer, Eddie Lacy, Darren Sproles, Arian Foster and Alshon Jeffery as well as Cecil Shorts and Doug Martin, as all those players are dealing with injuries or other issues heading into the weekend and there could be questions about their status.

Sunday Updates: Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery are active.

Welker could be back on the field soon with the new drug policy getting worked out and if that comes down in time for Sunday, he should be a START option. Either way, fantasy owners will be getting Welker back this week if not next week and that is great news for any owners of him or Peyton Manning. Josh Gordon could be on his way back as well, but that will come later on and his suspension is likely coming down from a year to about six games or possibly eight games, but either way, it's coming.

Eddie Lacy is dealing with a concussion and he likely will be playing no Sunday and if he is limited, take a look at James Starks. Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery are both dealing with injuries and there is a chance that Marshall plays, but it also could go the other way for the Bears. Chicago has a huge game against San Francisco and while they need both players, if either Jeffery or Marshall is not healed up, they likely will stay out. The Bears cannot afford to lose them for longer and that could be one reason why they hold one of the players out.

Arian Foster has been dealing with a rib injury, but he said that it's not serious and it looks like he will be playing on Sunday. Sproles is another smart option and he will be playing on Monday night with the Eagles. Sproles has a decent matchup with the Colts, but after the way he played last week he could be a big points grabber. Shorts and Gerhart are dealing with injuries and until it's confirmed that they will be in or out, SIT those two dudes.

Welker, Orlando Scandrick and Dion Jordan all could be back once the new policy comes down and that's good news for their teams and for fantasy owners. THE NFL needed to rectify this situation and it comes as Gordon will have his suspension reduced and that was needed, as it was ridiculous that Gordon was out for a year for smoking some pot and a video situation is the only reason why Ray Rice is out of the league and not on the initial two game suspension he had. Welker comes in after making 73 catches for 778 yards last season and he had 10 touchdowns and could be there again.

Eddie Lacy needs to be healthy for the Packers, as he is coming off of a great season and while he put up just 34 yards on 12 carries against the Seahawks, he has a better matchup now with the Jets. Last season Lacy had over 1100 yards and he added 11 touchdowns and he is a player that can catch passes out of the backfield as well.
