The PGA Tour Leaderboard is live from the TOUR Championship in East Lake CC as Rory McIlroy leads the scores for the time being with the second round going live into the third round for the FedEx Cup and he is one of the leaders with Jason Day, Rickie Fowler, Jim Furyk, Justin Rose and Matt Kuchar all in the mix and live stream coverage is from NBC and the Golf Channel while scoreboard coverage is live from ESPN.com and the PGATour.com website.

The PGA Tour golf leaderboard is live from the TOUR Championship from East Lake CC in Atlanta and the FedEx Cup tournament has Rory McIlroy and a number of other big name players teeing off live and things will go through the weekend as Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia, Jim Furyk, Bubba Watson and Jordan Spieth as well as Adam Scott try and win the title here.

Heading into this tournament after the BMW Championship, Chris Kirk is in the lead and he has a lead over Billy Horschel, Bubba Watson, Rory McIlroy, Hunter Mahan and Jimmy Walker as well as Furyk, Matt Kuchar and Fowler and now those names all will try and get a win here to keep moving up. McIlroy has had a great year and he comes in after winning two majors and he has been in the mix for the Cup heading into this tournament and he will be looking to play well.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson each had terrible years and they are not in on this tournament and with the Ryder Cup coming up as well, McIlroy is looking to get sharp and stay that way. McIlroy spoke about the age of those two players and about how they are on the back ends of their careers and now it's time for the young guns to step up more. McIlroy has done that by winning two more majors and now it looks like he is the player to beat moving forward over the next few years.

McIlroy has played very well at majors this year and that could set him up for success here and it comes after he came in eighth at the BMW. McIlroy was in fifth in the tournament before that and that came after his 22nd place finish at the Barclays. Coming into this, McIlroy had won three straight and that included the PGA Championship and he also won the WGC Bridgestone and he has been playing very well all around this year, including his drives and his putting.

Woods has had a disaster of a year and it came after a season when everyone thought he was about to get back on track. Last year Woods won five times last year and three times ahead of the Masters and many felt he was on his way back after that performance. Woods ended up getting his number one rank back, but this year has been a disaster. Woods missed cuts and played badly and he also was injured and now he will be out of action as he continues to recover and this could be the last chance for him to get back into shape before he hits the twilight of his career.
