The NFL preseason standings for 2014 have the final division records of the AFC and NFC teams set heading into the season and the leaders by wins and losses were the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos.

The NFC East saw the New York Giants win all five of their preseason games, which included the Hall of Fame game against the Buffalo Bills in Canton, Ohio. Many have said that the Giants have not looked good on offense to start the preseason but the team feels good about where they are, as Eli Manning is healthy and so is basically everyone else apart from Geoff Schwartz. Giants won all five of their games while the Washington Redskins went three and one, the Philadelphia Eagles went two and two, while the Dallas Cowboys lost all four of their games.

The NFC north saw the Minnesota Vikings win all four of their games and lose none of them, while the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions were tied for second with three wins over the Bears with two. The NFC South so the New Orleans Saints lead with three wins while the Falcons had to and so did the Panthers, while the Buccaneers finished with one win.

The Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers each finished with two wins in the NFC West, while the Cardinals and the Rams each had one win. The AFC East saw the Miami Dolphins finish with three wins while the New York Jets and New England Patriots each had two wins, and the Buffalo Bills finished with one win.

The AFC North saw the Baltimore Ravens finish with four wins and zero losses ahead of the Cincinnati Bengals, who had just two wins in four games. The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns each finished with one win and three losses. The AFC South had the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans with two wins each while the Jacksonville Jaguars had one win and the Indianapolis Colts had zero wins and four losses.

Not surprisingly, the Denver Broncos finished with three wins and one loss in the AFC West while the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers each had two wins, finishing ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs who had one win in the preseason.

Preseason records often don't mean anything, just look at the Lions for example, as they were the team that lost every game during the regular season and win all their preseason games a number of years ago. The Giants won all five of their games but no one was too excited about that, while the Indianapolis Colts lost all four of their games and they are coming in after two straight playoff appearances.
