The Miami Hurricanes and Louisville Cardinals are playing live on the ESPN college football schedule on Monday for the Labor Day and the ACC matchup has the Canes travelling to Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and the game starts at 8 pm ET on TV and live streaming online as Bobby Petrino leads his team into the 2014 season in this conference matchup.

The Hurricanes come into the season after going 9-4 last year and that was a solid improvement and they are looking to get back to where the team once was years ago. The team opens with two easy games after Louisville and then the schedule picks up with Nebraska and Duke, who are coming off of a great season from last year. The schedule also has number one Florida State along with Cincy and ranked North Carolina and the team ends the year with Virginia and Pitt for the Hurricanes.

Miami has not been able to find the talent that it once had years ago but the team is expected to be very deep and very strong on defense and they have some of the fastest players in the nation on offense. Louisville has a number of players they need to replace after the success of last season and they are looking to have a big year with a new head coach taking over.

Louisville comes into the season with high expectations despite losing Teddy Bridgewater to the NFL and he has the chance to start with the Minnesota Vikings this year after coming out following a very productive season with the Cardinals. Bridgewater was the final pick of the first round and he could end up playing sooner than players picked before hand like Johnny Manziel and Blake Bortles.

Florida State should be the favorites in the ACC once again after going undefeated and winning the national championship last year with Jameis Winston as their starting quarterback. Winston has the inside track to the Heisman Trophy this year after winning it as a freshman last year despite all his off the field problems as he was the best player on offense in the country.

Louisville has Miami and then they have an easy game before a road matchup with Virginia. The team also has Florida State this season and they end with a tough stretch that includes Clemson, FSU as well as Boston College and Notre Dame before finishing the season with Kentucky. The Cardinals have high expectations and they could be a surprise team in the conference.
