NBA stars, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Blake Griffin will compete for gold in London 2012."

When you have a team with Kobe Bryant and LeBron James heading your squad, you know you will be in good hands.

The U.S. Men's Olympic Basketball Team in 2012 has its final starting lineup after adding Blake Griffin, Andre Iguodala and James Harden early Saturday.

These players were added after Rudy Gay, Eric Gordon and Anthony Davis could not make the trip to London, and were beat out by Iguodala, Griffin and Harden. Davis sprained his ankle and decided to stay behind recuperating.

Carmelo Anthony, forward of the New York Knicks, Chris Paul, the Los Angeles Clippers guard, Deron Williams, point guard for the soon to be Brooklyn Nets, Tyson Chandler, center for the New York Knicks, Kevin Durant, forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder and teammate, guard, Russell Westbrook and center, Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves are all a part of the 2012 basketball team.

Missing out in 2012 will be Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

Even with these players missing, this team is made up of the NBA MVP and Finals MVP, the scoring champion and multiple members of All-NBA and All-NBA Defensive Teams.

This presents opposing countries with a tough matchup, to say the least.

With all the talent the U.S. team possesses, there is no doubt that the team can win the gold.

This team has the power inside with Love and Chandler. They have crazy dribble penetration with Williams, Paul and Westbrook. Durant,  Anthony, Harden and Kobe can kill you from the perimeter, which will then open up lanes for Griffin, Iguodala and James to finish hard at the rim.

Team USA will start their Olympic journey on July 29th against a possibly, Tony Parker-less French team.
