Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are playing on the English Premier League schedule on Sunday and the game of the week has the Spurs and Reds matching up and the game is from White Hart Lane at 8:30 am ET and is live on TV from the NBC Sports Network and streaming live on the NBCSN Live Extra as these top teams on the EPL table face off.

Liverpool and Tottenham will play again in February and that will be at the Anfield and after this matchup at White Hart Lane and this is one of the best early matches of the season. Liverpool comes in after a win against Southampton and a loss against Manchester City and that was on the road at the Etihad and now the team is coming back for this game against the Spurs. The team has tough matches coming up with West Ham and Everton and the team also plays against Hull City and later against Chelsea and that will be another great game at Anfield.

Tottenham has been one of the best teams in the Premier League early on this season and they come in after scoring five goals in two games and now conceding any in EPL play. The team won away against West Ham and they also dominated QPR after they were recently promoted and now the team is looking to keep things going with Liverpool. The team then plays against Sunderland and West Brom before matching up with Arsenal and that will be at the Emirates, always a tough place to play.

White Hart Lane always gives the team some momentum and now the team has the chance to stay atop the Premier League table early on with a win here. Liverpool has had a tough lineup to start the season and the team won over Southampton before losing to Man City and it comes after the team won all three of their matches last season 1-0 to open and now they need Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling to step up now that Luis Suarez is gone.

Brendan Rodgers and his team now have Mario Balotelli and he can help replace the loss of Suarez and it comes after the Reds were one of the highest scoring teams in the league last season. The team was near the top of the table for most of the back stretch of the season and they ended up falling to Manchester City and now they are looking to get back into the mix after the loss to the Citizens last time out. The Spurs have played well to start the season and now they have some momentum and that will make this a tough matchup on both sides.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino likely will have his best lineup ready after the match against AEL Limassol in the Europa League and the team may not have Roberto Soldado after he dealt with a neck injury. Liverpool likely will have Mario and Adam Lallana on the pitch and players like Glen Johnson, Alberto Moreno, Martin Skrtel and Jose Enrique could also be in the mix.
