The Florida State Seminoles and Oklahoma State Cowboys are playing live for the first big national broadcast of the college football season and the TV coverage is from ABC and ESPN from ESPN3 online and WatchESPN at 8 pm ET at AT&T Stadium and College GameDay was there for the early show and Jameis Winston now comes back after winning the Heisman Trophy last year.

Winston comes into the season after passing for over 4000 yards last season and winning the Heisman and he comes back without one of his biggest receivers with Kelvin Benjamin going to the NFL. FSU is considered to be the favorites for the 2014 national championship and they seem to be certain to make the playoff by some in the sport, but the games will be the games. Last season the team was dominant and went undefeated while winning the ACC.

The team opens with a big team with Oklahoma State and they could be a sleeper this year and this is the first major game of the season and it comes ahead of the Citadel easy matchup in the next game. The team then plays against number 16 Clemson and that will the only major test for the team this season apart from Notre Dame, so they probably will be pretty good again under Jimbo Fisher. The team then hits the road for real for the first time with NC State before playing Wake Forest.

The team also has a road game against Louisville and that could be a tough matchup away and they also have a home matchup with Virginia after that. Miami is on the schedule next and that will be on the road and then the team has games at home to end the season with Boston College and Florida. The ACC is not as strong as it once was, but there are still some pretty good teams and while Florida State doesn't have the crazy schedule of the Big Ten or the Pac-12, they still have challenging games.

OSU comes in with this big matchup and they don't play another big game until Texas Tech and the team also has two road games in a row after that. The team has a tough end to the season, including road games against Kansas State, Baylor and Oklahoma and all of those are ranked teams now and they also have a home matchup with Texas.
