It is time for Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva to put up or shut up.
Saturday evening, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas will host the anticipated match between Sonnen and defending UFC middleweight champion, Silva.
Sonnen has spent a good part of the last month promoting the brawl. He said he will punish Silva and become the champion.
Sonnen also ridiculed his lifestyle growing up and referred to himself as the "Gangster from America."
The best part of these promotions? Sonnen is able to keep a straight face, proving that his acting skills are up to par.
But enough with the acting and the gimmicks.
Saturday night he will step into the ring with a second chance of defeating the man he lost to about two years ago.
Sonnen pushed "the Spider" further than he's ever been pushed two years ago at UFC 117, using better-than-expected striking and his All-American wrestling skills to come within two minutes of dethroning the UFC Middleweight Champion.
Do not miss a second of the action as Silva and Sonnen face each other for the second time. Sonnen is set on becoming a champion, while Silva failed to keep quiet, raising the stakes by saying he will break all four of Sonnen's limbs and teeth.
