With the fantasy football 2014 season just days away from starting, most teams and league have put together their drafts and now some of the top free agent options for fantasy owners include names like Tim Wright, Heath Miller, Kenny Britt, Brian Hartline, Justin Hunter as well as Shonn Greene, Miles Austin, Andrew Hawkins, Lamar Miller and Hakeem Nicks.

Tim Wright has vaulted up as one of the best players to pick up this season, as he has just been traded to the Patriots from the Buccaneers and could have a big impact. The team knows that Rob Gronkowski is a beast, but he has not been able to stay healthy in the past two seasons and that could open things up for Wright. If Gronk does stay healthy, Wright still has plenty of value, as he is expected to take over the Aaron Hernandez position and that means he could line up in the backfield as well as in the slot at times depending on the formation.

Wright had a string season last year and only Jimmy Graham scored more touchdowns than him at tight end over the back stretch and that could make him a very valuable pickup. Wright had 54 catches last season for 571 yards and five scores and with his size and athleticism he could be big for the Patriots. Wright will be the move player with the Pats and he had four catches for the team in the final preseason game against the Giants.

Heath Miller is another tight end option to look at, as he has been the main target for Big Ben apart from his wideouts for years and he could be in for a nice season. Miller is coming back from surgery and that has allowed him to slip and that is one reason why he is one of the best left out there. Miller had five catches for 53 yards and a touchdown in the third preseason game for the Steelers and he comes in after missing two games last year and still having a solid season. Miller had 71 catches two years ago and last season he had 58 catches for nearly 600 yards and he could be in line for that again.

Kenny Britt had a horrible season in 2013 and that was due to his own issues and the fact that he was coming into free agency and now he is with the Rams. Britt is not a great option if other players are out there following the Sam Bradford injury, but someone needs to catch passes for the Rams and he could be the one. Britt actually could end up as the number one receiver and with his size, he could end up scoring some TDs. Forgetting last season, Britt had 45 catches for 589 yards in his last solid year and before that he had a career high 775 yards in 2010. The Rams will be looking for another QB, but Britt could end up as the WR1 for the team.

Brian Hartline was the Dolphins leader last season in receptions and yards and he could have another strong year in PPR leagues. Last season he had 76 catches for 1016 yards and that made it his second straight 1,000 yard season.
