Rutgers vs. Washington State Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming Fox Sports 1 College Football Game

Rutgers and Washington State are playing live on Fox Sports 1 for the college football season opening night and the Scarlet Knights and Cougars are looking to open up with a win at CenturyLink Field and the FS1 TV coverage and live stream is online at 10 pm ET for the Big Ten and Pac-12 teams and it comes after a number of NCAA football games on the schedule.

Rutgers went 6-7 last season and the team went 0-3 against the top 25 and now they are opening up their first season in the Big Ten and after this matchup they play against Howard and Penn State before a matchup with Navy. The Navy team is expected to be very strong rushing the ball and the Scarlet Knights will have to keep their defense going and they should have an easy time with their next game before heading into the meat of the schedule.

Rutgers comes in after moving conferences from the Big East and they have high expectations for the season under Kyle Flood and they have some major matchups this year. The team has Michigan on the schedule to start things off in the month of October and after that is the gauntlet of the conference with number five ranked Ohio State and then Nebraska and Wisconsin next on the schedule. The team also has Michigan State and then a road game at Maryland to finish the season.

The Cougars come into the season after going 6-7 in the Pac-12 and they they are very excited about the season. The team was ranked fourth in the league in passing yards per game and they also were ranked 97th in the nation in points against and if they can shore up the defense they could be in good position to keep things going.

Washington State has Portland State and Nevada next on the schedule and then the team has a massive matchup with Oregon and they come in ranked third in the nation to start the season. The Cougars also have matchups with ranked teams over the final five weeks of the season and that comes after the team matches up with 11th ranked Stanford and after that they play against Arizona. The team has USC at home and they are ranked, while Oregon State and Arizona State are on the road before a home matchup with Washington to end the season.
