New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (#12) drops back to pass in the first quarter. The New England Patriots take on the Carolina Panthers in a pre-season exhibition game at Gillette Stadium. "

The New England Patriots and NY Giants are playing live on the Week 4 preseason schedule and the game is live from MetLife Stadium in New York starting at 7:30 pm ET as the teams finish the preseason and the matchup with Tom Brady and Eli Manning is a Super Bowl rematch and comes ahead of Week 1 of the season and is streaming online from NFL.com.

The Giants and Patriots have this yearly preseason matchup and it comes after two Super Bowl games that NY won and while this is just an exhibition, it always gives people memories of those games. The Giants are undefeated in four games this preseason including the Hall of Fame game, but you'd be hard pressed to find a fan that is impressed. The team has not looked great in the new offense from Ben McAdoo, but Eli Manning and company feel that they are ready to bounce back after a rough 2013 season.

The Giants have a new offense and they have added a number of free agents this offseason, including Rashad Jennings and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and they are looking for big improvements on offense. Last season Eli Manning was a mess and had 27 interceptions and Victor Cruz was the lone consistent player. The team is expecting a big change for Manning and they also need players like Rueben Randle, Cruz and Jerrel Jernigan to step up. Odell Beckham was drafted to help the offense and while he is dealing with a hamstring injury, he should make a big impact for the team.

The Patriots just traded Logan Mankins for Tim Wright and that really could open up the offense for Tom Brady. If Rob Gronkowski is healthy, Wright can play where Aaron Hernandez did as the TE that can line up as a WR or in the backfield and if Gronk is out, he can step things up. The Giants have a tough schedule to start the season and they have their fifth preseason game and while they have won all of those, no one is satisfied with how the first team offense has played.

The Giants open with the Detroit Lions on the road and that will be on Monday night football, than the team has Arizona and Houston at home, while a big road game comes next on Thursday night with the Washington Redskins on the road. That starts a stretch of three straight games on the road against the NFC East and they start with the Skins before playing home at Atlanta and then they head into the bye week with games against the Eagles and Cowboys.
