The Cleveland Cavaliers are trying for a Timofey Mozgov trade after pulling off the trade for Kevin Love and this comes as the team is also looking to sign Ray Allen as a free agent to join LeBron James and to get a deal done the team may have to trade Dion Waiters to the Denver Nuggets.

The Cavaliers are thrilled after pulling off the Kevin Love trade, but the team sees some holes on defense and that's one reason why they are looking at this deal. According to Pro Basketball Talk, the Cavaliers are looking to add more on their front line and they think that Mozgov can give the team a nice defensive presence. Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com said on the radio that the Cavaliers have been looking to make the deal after he played with David Blatt on the Russian team, but so far the Nuggets have not been satisfied at what they would get in return.

Mozgov has a $4.65 million contract for next season and he also has a team option for $5 million, so he is not a crazy expensive player. The Nuggets won't just give him up for unguaranteed contracts and the team may have to give up something decent after he averaged 9.4 points and 6.4 rebounds in 21.6 minutes per game last season.

The Cavaliers pulled off the Kevin Love trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves for Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett after a month of speculation and rumors and the overall trade is a three team deal with the Philadelphia 76ers that also sends Thaddeus Young to the Wolves, while Alexey Shved and forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute are heading to Philly from Minnesota.

The Kevin Love trade rumors had a team like the Chicago Bulls in the mix with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors and names like Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott, Nikola Mirotic, Jimmy Butler and Tony Snell were possible to move in the deal over Andrew Wiggins with the Cavs as the teams negotiated, but it never happened.

Love as the next player in the mold of Dwight Howard and Carmelo Anthony, as those two players were hit with tons of speculation one year before their free agency and everyone knows how those situations ended. Love signed an extension with the Timberwolves a couple of years ago and they allowed for an opt out next summer to help keep him in Minnesota and now that same opt out is the reason why he left.

The Kevin Love trade happened with Cleveland Cavaliers after talk with the Golden State Warriors, as the two teams were interested in trading for the Timberwolves star and this came after the Cavs signed Andrew Wiggins, meaning they could not trade him for a month and the Wolves still wanted Klay Thompson over everyone else, but couldn't get him.

The Kevin Love trade talks were all Cleveland Cavaliers, and while the Golden State Warriors jumped back in after previously keeping Klay Thompson out of things, the Cavs with Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett with a first round pick and a possible side deal with the Sixers for Thaddeus Young was too good to pass up.
