The Miami Heat are looking at adding more free agents this offseason and names like Chris Douglas-Roberts, Emeka Okafor, Andrew Bynum, Michael Beasley, Greg Oden or Ramon Sessions could be options, as those are players left on the free agent market that could be in the price range for Miami and this comes after the team added Luol Deng as their top free agency signing following the departure of LeBron James.

According to ESPN.com writer Marc Stein, Okafor has been getting attention from a number of teams, including the Cavaliers and the Miami Heat. Okafor missed last season with injuries and despite his age, he has been a player in demand. Many see him as a smart veteran off the bench and he could fit in well with the Heat roster, as they often have older veteran contributors coming off the bench. Stein writes that "half the league" has been interested in Okafor and right now Miami and Cleveland are mentioned as the top options.

Stein writes that once Okafor is ready to return, he will be in "high demand" and teams like the Cavs and Miami Heat could pounce. Okafor was dealt in the Marcin Gortat deal with the Wizards and he was moved to the Phoenix Suns, but did not play at all this season. Okafor had a $14.5 million expiring contract last season and the Suns were thought to be looking to move him in a deal, but nothing came to pass last season.

Okafor is likely to remain out until the middle of the season and it comes after he dealt with a herniated disc. Miami comes into the season after losing LeBron and they have signed a number of players, including Josh McRoberts, Danny Granger and Shawne Williams. The team also kept their own free agents in Udonis Haslem and Mario Chalmers, while Shabazz Napier came over in a draft trade and he could get a ton of playing time this season.

Miami has not decided yet on bringing back Greg Oden or Michael Beasley, but it's looking like neither of those players will return. Oden is dealing with legal troubles, while Beasley was worked out by the LA Lakers and could sign there. Miami has also been interested in Douglas-Roberts and Bynum is another name that has come up.
