The Cleveland Cavaliers have won out the Kevin Love trade and now the team is looking at adding more free agents after signing Shawn Marion and trading Andrew Wiggins and names like Ray Allen, Chris Singleton, Emeka Okafor or Elton Brand could be potential targets for LeBron James.

According to ESPN.com, the Kevin Love trade is now complete with the Cleveland Cavaliers and that came after the Chicago Bulls, Cavs and Golden State Warriors battled for a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Cavs were the frontrunners after players like Andrew Wiggins, Dion Waiters, Anthony Bennett, David Lee, Harrison Barnes, Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler were names that came up that could have been traded.

The Cavaliers at first were not willing to out Wiggins in the deal, later Cleveland was willing to deal the number one overall pick. The Kevin Love trade was between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls this summer and with that in mind, Love pulled out of playing with USA Basketball to avoid any injuries and the Minnesota Timberwolves decided that the Andrew Wiggins package from the Cavs with Anthony Bennett was the better offer over what Chicago had proposed with Doug McDermott and Taj Gibson.

The Bulls had a solid package, but most thought the Cavaliers deal was better since it had Wiggins as the number one overall pick from this year and Bennett at the same pick from last year. Chicago reportedly had offered Taj Gibson along with Doug McDermott and Nikola Mirotic. The Wolves wanted to get rid of the contracts of Kevin Martin and JJ Barea and instead they got rid of Alexey Shved and forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute to the Sixers.

There were early reports that the deal may need a third team to do that since the Cavs could only take on so much money. The Sixers were an option since they have cap space and now the Timberwolves have received Thaddeus Young as a replacement for Kevin Love.

The Golden State Warriors were one of the first teams involved in talks with the Timberwolves about Love, but they did not want to offer Klay Thompson in their trade package. The Warriors instead offered David Lee and Harrison Barnes in their deal and a reason they did not want to give up Klay is because if his defense and it was also because of his star potential. The Golden State Warriors appear to be out and now Thompson reportedly is looking for a contract extension. The Kevin Love trade rumors moved onto just one team, as the Cleveland Cavaliers beaten the Chicago Bulls with their offer of Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett and that means LeBron James and the Cavs are likely championship favorites heading into the NBA season.

The Kevin Love trade rumors were heating up once again this summer and it had the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors all looking to make a deal, with the Cavs as frontrunners with Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett, while the Bulls previously had gotten back in the fold with Taj Gibson, Jimmy Butler and potential first round picks in the future for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
