The San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers are playing live on the NFL preseason schedule for Week 3 and the game is on FOX and started live at 4:15 pm ET from Levi's Stadium and streaming online from the NFL.com website and Fox Sports and it comes as the Niners have scored just three points in the preseason and are trying to get things going with Colin Kaepernick.
The Niners have the Houston Texans after the Chargers and that comes after losses to the Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens as well. The team has not looked good on offense and they are hoping for better results against the Chargers and they are still trying to figure out their backup quarterback situation. The team opens with the Dallas Cowboys on the road and they have away games in two of the first three weeks, with a trip to the Cardinals also coming.
The team has the Bears and the Eagles early in the season and they also have an anticipated matchup against the Denver Broncos. The team has a bye in week 8 and they have the toughest division in football with the Seahawks, Rams and Cards. The team has away games against the Rams and the Broncos and that game is on Sunday night football, while the Rams and then two games against the Saints and Giants on the road and that will be tough.
The team has games at home against the Washington Redskins and also against the Seattle Seahawks and then the team plays on the road against Seattle and the Raiders. The team finishes the season at home against the San Diego and the Arizona Cardinals.
