The Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears are playing live on the NFL preseason schedule for Week 3 and the game starts up at 10 pm ET from CenturyLink Field as the Super Bowl champs try to get a win and this matchup is streaming live from the NFL Network and has plenty of star power in the NFC with Jay Cutler, Richard Sherman and Russell Wilson going at it.

The Seahawks are the champions after winning the Super Bowl and the Bears come into this season looking to make the playoffs after losing out last year. Jay cutler was injured for part of the season and now he is coming back with a new contract, while Russell Wilson has a Super Bowl and is looking like a budding star. The Seahawks opened the preseason with a loss before winning over the San Diego Chargers big and the team has another home game against the Bears before playing against the Oakland Raiders in Week 4.

The Seahawks ranked first in the league in passing yards allowed per game last season with Richard Sherman and the Legion of Boom and they also had a top 10 ranked rush defense. The team also was fourth in rushing yards per game with Marshawn Lynch and they need him to have another productive season if they want to repeat as champions. The team can't afford to lose him to an injury, but Wilson is developing and he will have a healthy Percy Harvin and that could be a huge factor after the way he played in the Super Bowl.

The Seahawks have an early bye week and sometimes those can be hard to navigate and they will open the season against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night football before playing the San Diego Chargers on the road. The team has only one Monday night football game this season and that is on the road against the Washington Redskins and that will be the first in a stretch of three road games in four weeks. The team has Washington and then has Dallas at home before playing on the road against the St. Louis Rams and Carolina Panthers in 1 pm ET time games.

The Bears comes into the game after winning over the Jaguars in a comeback and they will play against the Seahawks before a matchup with the Browns. The team is on the road for these two games after opening up with the Eagles and Jaguars. The Bears have a stretch in the first half with four road games in five weeks and the one home game is a matchup with the Green Bay Packers. The team plays on the road against the Panthers, Falcons and New England Patriots and they also have the Green Bay Packers after the bye week.

The second half of the schedule is tough for the Seahawks with road games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals and the team also has to go to Arrowhead Stadium to play the Chiefs, which is always a tough place to play. The team has a long stretch of games since the bye is so early in the season and they could build momentum if they get on a run. The NFC west is the toughest division in football and they will play three straight division games to end the season and five in the last four weeks, making that division all but up in the air until the end.
