Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are playing live in the Spanish Super Cup 2014 on Tuesday and the first leg match is from Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid and has the La Liga champs against the Copa del Rey winners and the matchup starts at 5 pm ET and the game will be streaming from ESPN on WatchESPN and from TV as well and the game is on at 10 pm local time with Cristiano Ronaldo and his Champs League team.

The two teams are meeting for the 2014 Supercopa de España and it comes after Atletico won the La Liga title and Real won the Copa del Rey trophy. The two legs will take place on Tuesday and then on Friday and after starting at the Bernabéu, the next match will be from Vicente Calderón. Real is the favored team coming in and this matchup has Diego Costa gone, as he is now with Chelsea and this is the second straight season that Atletico is in this matchup.

Atletico played against Barcelona last season and now the matchup is with Real and Real comes in after getting a win in the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla after the winners of the Champs League and Europa Leagues matched up. Mario Mandžukić will have plenty of pressure on him with Costa gone and another player to watch is Iker Casillas, as the team has a bit of an issue between him and Keylor Navas and it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Gareth Bale is coming back after transferring from Tottenham and now he has much less attention on him after his move had the whole football world watching. The team now has James in to take some of that pressure off and having Bale, Rodriguez and Ronaldo on the pitch at the same time will be something to watch. Bale likely will not play in this matchup, as he is dealing with a back injury, while Pepe also likely will be out.

Real Madrid and Atletico have some other matchups coming this season and they will play the second leg of this match next week and that will be from Atletico. The team also play two more times in home and home matchups in La Liga and one of those will be in September before the next game in February on the schedule.

Real Madrid made some great moves in the offseason and they added James Rodriguez and now are looking to win the Champions League once again and they also are ready for a big La Liga season. The Spanish Super Cup is another great test and it puts these two teams against each other once again and it comes after Real won over Atletico in the Champs League final last year and that game was in Lisbon.
