The NY Giants and Indianapolis Colts are playing live on the NFL preseason schedule in Week 2 and the game starts up at 7 pm ET as New York travels to Lucas Oil Stadium where they won the Super Bowl as Eli Manning and Andrew Luck face off and the game is streaming live online from NFL.com as the second week of the preseason gets underway.
The Giants are playing their second preseason game and their third overall with the Hall of Fame game and so far their offense has not come together. The team has a new offense with Ben McAdoo coming in and Eli Manning is looking to bounce back from a terrible year that saw him throw 27 interceptions. Manning has a number of new players on offense, including Rashad Jennings and Andre Williams and he also has to find a way to make up for the loss of Hakeem Nicks.
The team drafted Odell Beckham Jr. this offseason and they think that he can be a player that makes a major impact. The team comes in after winning their first two preseason games and now they will have two on the road in a row against the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Jets so obv not really a road game and then the team finishes up with their annual preseason game against the New England Patriots after those two Super Bowl matchups.
Ryan Nassib and Curtis Painter are fighting for the backup job and they have a couple more game left to tinker with things and decide who will be number two. The Detroit Lions are the first game on the schedule this season on Monday night football and then the team plays against the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Washington Redskins and then the Atlanta Falcons. The team also has a stretch of three road games in four weeks and that ends with the Eagles and Cowboys before heading into the bye week.
