According to MLSsoccer.com and ESPN.com, the 21-year-old Yedlin will now transfer to the Spurs for $4 million and that would be the most for any MLS Homegrown player before.

Yedlin was rumored to be on the move and the Spurs and Sounder spoke and Tottenham said that they will look at whether Yedlin should join the team mid-season or during the summer heading into next season. Yedlin is from Seattle and started 30 games for the team as a rookie and he broke out in a big way in Brazil, playing very well for Team USA.

Yedlin played in three games and also helped set up the second goal in the 2-2 draw against Portugal. Many said Yedlin was one of the most impressive players for the US team and now he is moving to England.
