The Chicago Bears are heading into 2014 with very high expectations and this season fantasy football owners should look at their offense for some stars, as names like Brandon Marshall, Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffery, Jay Cutler and Martellus Bennett could put up some excellent numbers this year and in PPR leagues a player like Forte could end up as the MVP of the entire season.

Last year Marc Trestman took over and brought in his new offense and while the defense gave up a record amount of yards, the offensive side of the ball was fantastic. The new offense even made a star out of Josh McCown and he was playing so well at times that some wondered whether bringing back Jay Cutler was the right move or not after he missed time with an injury. Either way, Cutler is back as the starter on a new contract and the team is expecting to put up even better numbers this season and that could be massive for fantasy owners.

Cutler is coming in after missing time last season and he finished with 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while passing for 2600 yards. This season he would like to get his efficiency better and staying healthy is important as well. McCown had 13 TDs and just one pick last season and if Cutler can cut down on his turnovers, he could be a great fantasy starter for owners.

Matt Forte had the best season of his career and he should be a top pick for owners, especially in PPR leagues. Last season Forte rushed for over 1,300 yards and added nine touchdowns and he also had 74 catches on the season for another 600 yards. That type of production is rare in the NFL and only players like Jamaal Charles and not many others come close to that. Forte is a great option for fantasy owners and he comes in looking to have an even better season this year.

At wideout it's hard to argue one name over another, but Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall are two names to draft early and to grab when owners can get them. The two players combined for 19 touchdowns last season and nearly 200 catches and having Cutler healthy could add even more. Jeffery had 89 catches for 1,421 yards last season and he averaged 16 yards per catch. Marshall was prolific once again and had 100 catches for 1,295 yards and 12 touchdowns and that makes him a number one option.

Bennett had 65 catches last season for nearly 800 yards and he should be another strong option at tight end. The Bears have a great offense with Trestman and with their stars in Cutler, Forte and the wideouts, they could be one of the highest scoring teams in the NFC.
