The Seattle Sounders and Houston Dynamo are playing live on the MLS schedule and the Major League Soccer weekend ends with SEA hosting things at CenturyLink Field starting up past 10:30 pm ET in Week 22 as Clint Dempsey and company get things going after falling out of first in the western conference and this is a chance to pick up some points.
The Sounders had been at the top of the MLS table all season and first place in the west, but they slipped out of that spot and now they have the chance to get things going. Seattle is looking to get back on track after losing back to back games in their past two and the team lost 1-0 against San Jose last weekend and now they have the chance to get another victory or at least some points. The Dynamo had been on a tough run and they had gone eight straight without a win and now they are matching up against one of the best.
The Dynamo come in after winning against DC United and they are one of the teams in the top of the east and now the Sounders are looking to bounce back to the top of the western conference standings. The two teams are playing for the only time this season and the Dynamo have never won in Seattle and this would be quite the time to do it against the Sounders. The teams previously played in the playoffs years ago when Houston was in the west and now Seattle is hoping to stop their losing streak now.
The team lost two in a row and they are just out of the west lead with Real Salt Lake and can bounce back after putting up 38 points in 20 games this season. The team is one point back and they are leading FC Dallas by two, while the LA Galaxy and Colorado Rapids are next in line. The Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps are chasing the next playoff spot and the Earthquakes and Chivas USA are next in the standings.
The east has Sporting Kansas City leading the conference by two over DC United, while Toronto and New York are next in the standings. Philadelphia is in the fifth spot and they are in playoff position ahead of the New England Revolution, Houston Dynamo and Chicago Fire, while the Montreal Impact are way out of things.
