Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed Paul Pogba's move to Juventus, slamming the midfielder for a lack of respect.
Ferguson, speaking to MUTV, also hinted at more signings for United after they completed moves for Shinji Kagawa and youngster Nick Powell.
Pogba was considered as one of the most exciting talents at United, but repeatedly rejected United's offers for a new deal. Ferguson said the club promised Pogba more playing time as well, but to no avail.
The Frenchman instead, decided to move to Italian champions Juventus, after he was offered a better contract and promised more playing time.
"Pogba signed for Juventus a long time ago as far as we're aware," Ferguson told MUTV.
"(It) is disappointing. I don't think he showed us any respect at all so, to be honest.
"I'm quite happy that if they carry on that way, they're probably better doing it away from us."
Pogba moved from Le Havre in 2009 under controversial circumstances and made just 7 appearances for United last season, all from the bench.
United let go of another talented but troubled player Ravel Morrison to West Ham and a third youngster's future, Ezekiel Fryers, remains unclear.
"We haven't heard anything from Zeki Fryers," Ferguson said.
"I don't know what's happening there but he's not been in touch with the club.
"His agent hasn't been in touch with the club and I can only assume he'll be back for training."
Meanwhile Ferguson hinted there would be more signings to come for the Red Devils in the summer.
When asked if there would be more fresh faces at United, Ferguson said: "Yes, there's a possibility.
"We're working on one or two things but there's nothing really to tell you to be honest."
"We always try to get our work done at the end of the season -- we spent a good deal of time sorting the deal with Shinji and we'd agreed a deal with Nick Powell before the play-offs which was a good move by us because the boy had an outstanding final at Wembley.
"When you don't get deals done immediately and you're negotiating with a club over a long period, then you can't expect to just snap your fingers and get it done."
United have been heavily linked with a left-back with Everton's Leighton Baines the main target after Jordi Alba moved to Barcelona. The Manchester club have also been linked with a move for Joao Moutinho and Luka Modric, with interest in the latter reportedly cooling after Spurs' extravagant demands.
It is understood, United will look to bring in a striker with Dimitar Berbatov expected to leave and Michael Owen released by the club.
