The fantasy football 2014 season is getting ready to start and that means top rankings at QB, WR and RB positions as well as sleeper advice, free agent pickups and mock draft options from places like ESPN, CBS Sports and Yahoo Sports and this season names like Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Cam Newton, Jamaal Charles and Aaron Rodgers are considered some of the best names to draft for fantasy owners in the first round.

Last year Manning and Brees were amazing and they are expected to be very good again and teams with first picks in drafts should look at these names as the best options. The two players are rarely hurt and their teams will be putting up big numbers no matter how the season goes. Jimmy Graham is back for the Saints and Manning has new receivers and weapons to use and this could be another record setting season for him, especially with Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas getting even better.

Manning had 55 touchdowns and he likely was key to a number of fantasy football championships along with Brees and they could do it again. Rodgers comes into the season looking to stay healthy after missing time last year and he could be a very solid pick early as well. Brees only had oh, 5,162 yards and 39 touchdowns last season and now he has Jimmy Graham coming back on a big contract and he will be looking to put up numbers once again. Jay Cutler and Andrew Luck could be top 10 players with some of the additions their teams have made and they are lower level names to watch at QB.

Jamaal Charles and Matt forte along with LeSean McCoy should be main options in leagues with PPR scoring and those players should be in the mix as the top stat leaders once again. A nice sleeper option at running back is Rashad Jennings, as the Giants are totally reshaping their offense and he likely will get touches. The team is planning on using the screen game more and that could really open things up for him in the offense.

Fantasy owners have a number of sleeper options this year and Giovani Bernard could be a great pickup, as he is expected to get more attention with the Bengals. Alshon Jeffery was amazing at WR last year and that could continue opening things up for Matt Forte. The Bears love what Forte brings and he should put up some major points once again.
