The Miami Heat have officially signed Chris Bosh to a five year contract in free agency and the team is looking to add more pieces to the roster on the back end after already signing Luol Deng and Josh McRoberts, as names like Eric Bledsoe and Greg Monroe are still on the market along with Jordan Crawford, Chris Singleton, Ray Allen, Chris Douglas-Roberts, Michael Beasley and Greg Oden.

The Heat have already added Luol Deng and he makes a Big 3 with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh and he is now officially with the team on a five year deal. According to Pro Basketball Talk, Bosh signed for five years and $118 million after flirting with the Houston Rockets this offseason and now he is locked in and looking to get back to the finals. Miami will not be the favorites in the east this year, but after adding Deng and other players they should be right in the mix of things in the conference.

According to the Miami Herald, the team is looking at Chris Douglas-Roberts, Jordan Crawford and Chris Singleton as bench options and while Monroe or Bledsoe would be dream pickups, they cost way too much money as restricted free agents. Douglas-Roberts would be a nice addition, as he had a solid season with the Hornets after averaging 6.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in 44 games. CDR also has size and can play solid defense and he is coming into the year after shooting 44 percent from the floor and that could be valuable to the Miami Heat. The team is still deciding on Greg Oden, while Michael Beasley has gotten some attention from the Lakers and he could be an option to sign there.

Oden was not a big factor for the Miami Heat this past season, but they could still bring him back after he averaged 2.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in 23 games and he could be a solid reserve behind Chris Andersen and Udonis Haslem. Miami has a solid bench that they have put together over this offseason, with Danny Granger and Josh McRoberts coming in and they also have James Ennis under contract and they could still add more. Norris Cole has been developing and he has been solid with Mario Chalmers and they are in for this season as well, while Shabazz Napier could be a great addition after the team traded PJ Hairston to get him at the draft.

Last season James led the team in scoring, assists and rebounds and now other players will have to step up. This could actually be a great thing for Dwyane Wade, as he had to change the way he played to suit LeBron. Same goes for Bosh and he could end up as the 20 and 10 player he was with the Raptors and this could really open things up in the offense. Obviously no team is better after losing LeBron James, but adding Deng will help with that loss of production and now the bench appears to be stronger than it has been in the past couple years.
