The Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants are playing live on the MLB schedule on Tuesday night and the game starts at 10:15 pm ET from AT&T Park and has Tim Hudson up against Francisco Liriano and these two teams are battling for wild card position in the NL and this could be a crucial matchup as the standings get closer.

The Giants have not been hitting lately and they need the bats to wake up and Hudson sure could use it, as the team is looking to snap a five game losing streak. The team has only scored five runs over past five losses and they were shutout on Monday against the Pirates. Tim Lincecum will pitch on Wednesday and now Hudson is looking to end the slide and comes after a shutout from Vance Worley and the Pirates are still alive in the NL Central, while the Giants are chasing in the NL West.

The Giants are ranked in the bottom part of the league in offense while the Pirates are right there in the top and they are ranked ninth in batting average and 11th in runs this season. The team is first in on base percentage and 12th in slugging percentage and now they are looking to win again.
