The 2014 MLB Standings in the AL and NL has division leaders in the Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics, Washington Nationals, Milwaukee Brewers and LA Dodgers heading into July 29 and the wild card has the Los Angeles Angels, Blue Jays, Braves and Giants in the American League and National League as the last 60-game push to the season goes on.

The playoff races in both leagues are shaping up to be very close and only one division looks set right now between the AL and the NL, with the Tigers holding a five game lead over the Kansas City Royals. The American League East is still up for grabs with the Baltimore Orioles leading the Toronto Blue Jays by three games, while the New York Yankees four back. The Rays and Red Sox are trying to hang on, but they need to play some amazing baseball in the second half to get it done in the division.

The Central is getting stretched out with the Tigers leading the Royals and Indians, while the Oakland Athletics are tops in the AL West and leads the LA Angels by two games. The Mariners are not a factor in the division at 11.5 games back, but they are in the wild card race. The NL East looks to be a two horse race, with the Nationals leading the Atlanta Braves by one games, while the Miami Marlins and NY Mets are just hanging on ahead of the Phillies.

The Milwaukee Brewers are leading the NL Central by two games over the St. Louis Cardinals, while the Pirates are three games back ahead of the Reds at six back. The National League West has the giants and dodgers duking it out and Los Angeles is 1.5 games up on San Francisco, while San Diego, Arizona and Colorado are double digit games behind in the standings.

The American League wild card has the Angels in clear hold of the first spot, while the Toronto Blue Jays, NY Yankees, Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals and Cleveland Indians are back in the standings, while the Rays are also hanging in there. The National League wild card gas the Braves and Giants in the current spots, while the Cardinals and Pirates are within two games of the season spot ahead of the Cincinnati Reds.
