The NBA trade rumors involving Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers for Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett are heating up and now the Cavs are the frontrunners over the Warriors with Klay Thompson, as Golden State is not willing to trade their star player to the Timberwolves and now the Cavaliers are after initially holding him out.

According to ESPN.com, the two sides are continuing discussions about a trade and reports say that the Cavaliers are now willing to deal Wiggins after holding him out of the first deal. The original proposed trade had Anthony Bennett and Dion Waiters with a first round pick and now it has Wiggins in it and it comes after LeBron James made it clear he wants to win now and wants to play with Love. The Cavaliers brought back LeBron James in free agency and that prompted the team to make an offer to the Wolves, but without Andrew Wiggins in it, Minnesota wasn't interested in dealing, which is why the Cavs are starting to think about trading Wiggins..

According to ESPN.com, the Cavs offered a nice package and now some in the NBA think that the Wolves are trying to drive up the price for both sides. Pro Basketball Talk reports that the Wolves like Thompson more than Wiggins and that this is a ploy to get the team to relent and trade him. The Warriors have so far offered Harrison Barnes and David LEe in a deal for Love and Kevin Martin, but the Wolves want more and they have been patient with Love and are looking to get the best deal they can.

Love has been one of the best young players in the NBA and he has been averaging double doubles and he comes in after factoring into the MVP voting and also averaging over 25 points and 12 rebounds. Love would make the Cavaliers and instant title contender and James has played with Love before with Team USA basketball and this all could be part of why James came back. James did not have a true say in building Miami after the Big 3 era started and into next year, but here he may have more power and that may have been one of the reasons why he returned.

The Love trade rumors are really starting to pick back up again for the Timberwolves, as the Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers have come up recently along with the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls and now Minnesota and Cleveland has to weigh whether or not to trade one of their stars to get a deal done. The Wolves have a big decision to make as well, as they know Love wants to test the market and play in the playoffs, but they also are hoping to make one more run with him and at him for an extension.

James wants to win now and getting a player like Love would make the team the favorites in the east. The central division is getting crazy with the Bulls and Pacers and now the Cavaliers could jump over all of them.
